| Job Responsibility | Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP). General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and ensure timely month-end and year-end closings. Cost Accounting: Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations, specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses in collaboration with finance and operations teams. Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements. Liaise with auditors and tax consultants. Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial transactions and prevent discrepancies or fraud. Audit Support: Coordinate and support statutory, internal, and tax audits. Fixed Assets Accounting: Maintain fixed asset register and monitor asset capitalization and depreciation. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Experience with pharmaceutical-specific accounting practices such as costing, excise duty, and inventory control. Proficiency in accounting software ( Tally, MARG, or other ERP systems). |
